Celebrate the power of reading aloud with World Read Aloud Day on 1st February 2023. Its aim is to encourage children and adults to take a book, find an audience and read aloud. This event is now celebrated in over 173 countries around the world. It was created by LitWorld and is sponsored by Scholastic. This year, for the first time, Scholastic are hosting live interactive read-aloud shows which you can watch as they are broadcast or at a time to suit you. You can also register to receive a free World Read Aloud Day Virtual Kit, which includes resources and activity sheets.
