ScratchMaths – how to integrate computing and mathematics

ScratchMaths – how to integrate computing and mathematics – is free to download. It is a two year computing and maths based curriculum for Key Stage 2. Its aim is to enable pupils to engage with and explore mathematical ideas through learning to program and uses the free online programming environment Scratch.

The ScratchMaths curriculum has been designed by a team based at the University College London –UCL Knowledge Lab working alongside primary teachers.

  • Guided by existing programming and maths research

  • Spans 6 modules of work and over 40 hours of activities
