You can register and claim a free classroom set of 30 micro:bits. The BBC micro:bit is a pocket-sized computer that can be used to teach students about coding.
BBC micro:bit – the net gen
A new campaign for primary school children aged 8-11 to help them learn the digital skills to understand the world around them and prepare for what future tech may bring. As part of this campaign, the BBC are giving away micro:bits to primary schools across the UK.
Teachers will also be able to access training on how to use this device and there will be training materials to accompany some programmes on CBBC from September 2023.
