Mars Day on the 5th March 2023 – a free virtual day of learning, activities and resources. It is presented by the UK Space Education Office (ESERO-UK) at STEM Learning in collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA) and the UK Space Agency. The Mars Day mission will:
- Host speakers from ESA, NASA’s Perseverance team and the UK Space Agency
- Feature the Moon as the guest celestial object of the year
- Run classroom activities in Mars Hour with free activities and resources to download
- Star hidden heroes of the UK space industry
- Run hands-on activity sessions for Primary Schools
- Explore Mars over the week
There will be something for everyone and you will be able to book the sessions that suit you and your students, whether that is just a session or two or the whole day.
