Helping young people tackle loneliness with Building Connections

The NSPCC’s Building Connections program offers an 11-week online course designed to support young people up to age 19 in overcoming loneliness. Trained befrienders provide weekly one-on-one guidance, helping participants develop skills to build and maintain connections. The service includes activities, goal setting, and reflective exercises tailored to individual needs, aiming to enhance social confidence and emotional well-being. It’s accessible to those experiencing loneliness, with referrals made through various support channels.
