STEM Learning have a selection of free resources which can be used to introduce World Ocean Day into lessons. They include:
- Creating a ‘grabber’ to collect samples from the sea floor
- Activities looking at the effect of melting glaciers on sea levels
- Exploring the effect of rising temperatures on acidity levels in the ocean and what this means
World Ocean Day Youth Advisory Council have a whole range of resources based on the theme ‘Catalysing Action for Our Ocean & Climate’ with posters, banners and lesson plans which are all free to download.
