World Bee Day takes place every year and aims to raise the awareness of the importance of honey bees and other pollinators. Honey bees are responsible for pollinating one out of every three mouthfuls of feed we eat, but sadly they are facing the threat of extinction.
This year World Bee Day will be on Saturday 20th May and there are plenty of resources out there for you to use with your students to teach them about the important role that bees play in our environment.
