World Environment Day

This year is the 50th anniversary of World Environment Day and this year the spotlight is on plastic pollution #BeatPlasticPollution. Around the world, one million plastic bottles are purchased every minute, and up to five trillion plastic bags are used worldwide every year. Half of all plastic produced is designed for single use – and then it is thrown away.
